Please mark your calendars now for Resurrection Lutheran Churches first ever Stewardship Festival! 
     Over the last several months the Stewardship Committee has highlighted the function and needs of several of the church’s committees in the monthly newsletter and the weekly bulletins.
     The Stewardship Committee envisions the Stewardship Festival as a way to tie together our message of Committee importance and member participation.  We plan to have tents in the front lawn where each committee will be represented.  Church members will have the ability to visit as many committees as they like.
     Each committee will provide information on their mission and needs.  In addition, each committee will be asking for volunteers to sign up for various service opportunities within the church.  I challenge each of you to sign up for at least one service opportunity next year. 
     Perhaps now is the time to volunteer to be an usher, acolyte, choir member, lecture, assist in the church office, sign up for flowers, be a Sunday School teacher, work in the garden etc.  Remember there is a lot that is happening at Resurrection Lutheran Church!
     We plan to share in fellowship at the conclusion of the Festival with our annual Pig Pickin provided by the Fellowship Committee.
