Pastor Hobby Outten 

The Lutheran Foundation is our local ministry for the elderly and disabled. It is made up of several Lutheran Churches in our area. The facility it operates is HERITAGE OAKS - 916 S. Marietta St., Gastonia, NC. 704-864-3249. Plans are well under way for an assisted living community and health care clinic. Through our Social Ministry and Council, Resurrection has become one of the supporting churches. 

Pam McGinnis is our representative on the Board of Directors.
 
The last major drive for the NC Synod that we took up was Agape Kure Beach about 4 years ago. We were able to make significant financial support for that ministry. My hope is that we will take up this ministry with the same enthusiasm to honor our senior citizens and to care for those unable to take care of themselves.
